'Dean Martin' headlines at 2024 Dinner & Dance!

Dean Martin tribute act, Mark Adams, sauntered among the guests and serenaded them with classic tunes like ‘Volare’ and ‘That’s Amore’ - while Giacomo Maini and his band kept the dancers on the dancefloor at the Associozione Parmense’s annual Dinner & Dance.

This year’s Dinner and Dance was once again an opportunity to meet up and reaffirm the solid foundations of the Parma–London bridge, celebrating friendship between people and places far apart yet united by ties of the heart. A moment of joy and togetherness.

Organised by the Associazione Parmense, the annual celebration of emigrants from the Valtaro and Valceno valleys is always a deeply moving occasion: a time when meeting again strengthens long-standing affinities, born when solidarity was a matter of life and death and passed down from generation to generation.

The celebration took place in the ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Kensington. Proceedings began early, with drinks at 6 p.m., followed by a gala dinner featuring regional Italian produce — foremost among them Prosciutto and Parmigiano Reggiano (thanks to the support of the Prosciutto Consortium and numerous dairies) — accompanied by a tasting of wines from Monte delle Vigne and the Colli Piacentini.
